Warranty/Damage Policy and Procedures

At BassBoatShop.com we handle all or your warranty claims

Repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy for defective products under warranty. All incidental and consequent damages for breach of any and all expressed or implied warranties are hereby excluded. Any implied warranty is limited to the duration of the expressed warranty.

Step 2: Claims MUST include:

  • Customer information - Name / Address / Day & Evening Telephone Number / E-mail
  • Date of original sale and Restore Pontoon.com order number
  • Description of product
  • Description of defect - as much detail as possible
  • Photo of product, photo of defect, photo of law tag on product.

Photos are a VITAL part of the process and MUST be provided to process claim

Return Authorization Required

Upon review and approval of the warranty claim, we will communicate to you a plan to resolve the issue. If this includes the return of product to the Bassboatshop.com facility, a Return Authorization will be issued. No returns are accepted at our facility on a freight collect basis or without a return authorization number. Please do not attempt to do so. This will only cause further delays and costs.

Shipping Costs for Warranty Items

Bassboatshop.com may request return of defective product for repair and return at our facility. In such cases, the customer is responsible to package and return the product or part to our facility. If inspection confirms warranty is applicable, product will be repaired and returned to customer at the expense of BassBoatShop.com. If inspection results in a rejection of the warranty claim, the customer will be contacted for instructions. If the customer requests the return of product, he or she must pay transportation expense.

Please be very careful when open your new pontoon boat seats!  The use of sharp razor knifes will puncture the vinyl open opening.  These cushions will not be warrantied and cannot be returned for a refund.

 

Marideck Vinyl Flooring

DeckRite LLC (MariDeck) warrants to the original retail purchaser, that the MariDeck membrane is free from defects at the time of manufacturing. We further warrant that the MariDeck membrane, installed to MariDeck published specifications, will be free from defects for a prorated period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, providing the membrane was properly installed, maintained, and used for its intended purpose. At no time during the life of this limited warranty, shall DeckRites liability exceed the original selling price of the membrane. It is specifically noted that any other components of the boat are not covered under this warranty. TERMS, CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS A. Owner shall provide DeckRite with written notice of any defect in the membrane within fifteen (15) days of discovery. Should the subsequent DeckRite investigation reveal that the problem(s) were caused by something other than a defect in the membrane, the owner shall be responsible for the cost of investigation made by DeckRite. B. This warranty shall not be applicable for any damage to the membrane resulting from, but not limited to:1.Natural disaster, including but not limited to earthquakes, lighting, hail, high winds, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.2.Intentional acts, negligence, stains, scuffs, ice or snow removal, failure of Owner to use reasonable care, animals, fires, malicious mischief, vandalism, civil disobedience or improper Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) installation error.3.Settling, warping or other failure of the structure on which the membrane is attached.4.Alkaline attack, hydro static pressure or moisture from the sub floor.5.Normal wear and tear (i.e. fading, abrasion, etc.).C. This warranty shall be null and void if:1.There is a change in the use of the boat by the Owner or authorized user, which affects the membrane installation.2.The membrane is exposed to substances or chemicals which are not compatible with the membrane and have not been previously approved in writing by DeckRite. 3. Owner fails to pay the cost of investigation and repair of non-warranted problems.4.The membrane is damaged, penetrated, torn or altered in anyway .D. DeckRite has no obligation under this warranty unless:1.The bills for membrane have been paid in full to DeckRite, LLC, the OEM or dealer. 2. MariDeck agents or authorized installers are allowed access to said installation, to make inspections, during regular working hours.3.Owner has exercised reasonable care and maintenance in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer. E. It is expressly agreed that the Owners sole remedy to a defect in the membrane is replacement of the defective membrane .F. This limited warranty, issued at the office of DeckRite LLC, 3912 East Progress, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114, and accordingly governed by Arkansas law, is not transferable. DECKRITE DOES NOT WARRANT PRODUCTS INCORPORATED OR UTILIZED IN THIS INSTALLATION, WHICH IS HAS NOT FURNISHED AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY,UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW, ARISING OUT OF THE INSTALLATION OR PERFORMANCE OF, OR DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY OR CAUSED BY, PRODUCTS NOT FURNISHED BY DECKRITE. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, GIVEN BY DECKRITE, SUPERSEDES, AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL EITHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE OF THIS CERTIFICATE. DECKRITE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFITS, DAMAGE TO THE BOAT OR ITS CONTENTS, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LAW. NO REPRESENTATIVE OF DECKRITE HAS ANY AUTHORITY TO BIND DECKRITE WITH ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OTHER THAN IS STATED HEREIN

 


Boat Seats

The Wise Company, Inc. warrants that each new seat and all accessories and equipment (except upholstery material) supplied by the Wise Company is free from defects (to be determined by exclusively by the Wise Company) in material or workmanship to the original purchaser:
 

  •        Vinyl Boat Seat Upholstery: 3 years
  •        Camouflage Fabric Boat Seat Upholstery: 1 year
  •        Torsa Seat Frames: 3 years
  •        All Other Boat Seat Frames: 5 years
  •        All Hardware Items: 3 years

The Wise Company, Inc. will replace from its factory, or at its option, repair any parts which, in the opinion of the manufacturer, have failed or worn as stated previously.

This warranty shall be considered if, in the opinion of the Wise Company, one or more of the following conditions are present:

  • The seat or any accessory/equipment has been altered, modified, changed or reworked in a manner not previously authorized by the Wise Company
  • The seat has been subjected to abuse, neglect or accident.
  •  The seat is installed in a manner that would subject the seat to abnormal use.
  •  Damage to covers caused by cuts, burns, or abuse.

The Wise Company, Inc. makes no other express warrant and offers no remedy except herein described. The Wise Company disclaims any liabilities for incidental or consequential damages resulting from breach of any express or implied warranty with respect to the Wise Company seating product covered by its warranty. All other warranties express, implied or statutory including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the period of this warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. So the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty give you specific legal right and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Failure to give prompt, written notice within thirty (30) days of the discovery of any defect in material or workmanship which occurs within the warranty period will void its warranty.

Wise products are designed for recreational use only, all warranties void if used for commercial purposes.

 

Ladders

JIF Marine is proud to offer high quality products. We stand behind all of our ladders and will or with you to make right any defect in materials or workmanship. This includes either a repair or replacement of the products as appropriate with a 2 year no hassle replacement. It should be noted that some components, particularly those made of rubber or plastic, will we over time and such wear and tear is not part of our warranty. Similarly, we do not cover damage done to a ladder through any misuse, improper installation, or neglect.

 


Marine Boat Carpet

 

Lancer Enterprises, Inc. extends a limited warranty against failure due to Ultraviolet (UV) degradation on covered floor covering products of face weight of sixteen (16) ounces or more, for marine use. Failure is defined as the degradation by UV action of the pile surface by 50% or more. This limited warranty is provided to the original retail purchaser and is for a period of two years from date of purchase. During the term of this limited warranty, if carpeting fails due to UV degradation, Lancer Enterprises, Inc. will provide, free of charge to original retail purchaser, carpeting of equal weight and color. This limited warranty does not apply to carpeting installed on stairs, athletic surfaces or other heavy traffic areas, color variation due to changes in texture, negligence, crushed pile, tracking, burns, cuts, spills, battery acid, faulty installation, or the application of faulty cleaning agents or maintenance methods. LANCER ENTERPRISES, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The sole remedy provided by this limited warranty shall be replacement of the carpet or refund of the original purchase price of carpeting. Remedies for incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of the incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from state to state.

This warranty is valid in the continental United States and Canada only.

DAMAGE POLICY

AtBassBoatShop, we do our utmost to take care of our customers. If you receive a damaged item, please follow the following procedure to allow us to serve you in the most effective and efficient manner:
 
Step 1: Contact us immediately. Damage claims after 14 days may not be honored due to company shipping limitations. Claims beyond the 14 day time frame are subject to rejection or restocking fees, at our discretion.
NOTE: For any required return, we will issue a return authorization. Do not return an item without this authorization, as no shipments are accepted at our facility without a return authorization number.
 
Step 2: Keep all original boxes. Some damaged items will require return to Restore Pontoon or one of our manufacturing vendors.
 
 
Step 3: Please take a photo (digital is best) of: 1) the label on the shipping box; 2) the box itself (showing damages); and 3) the product itself (showing any damage).
These photos are a VITAL part of the process and MUST be provided in order to process a claim.
 
 
Step 4: Contact our warranty department at customerservice@bassboatshop.com with the following information:
•  Photos of damages including:
•  label on box;
•  box damage; and
•  product damage.
 
Feel free to send several views of each, if needed. Again, photos are VITAL and must be provided in order to process claims.
•  Customer name
•  Order number
•  Item description and part number
•  Tracking number, as provided by Restore Pontoon
•  Description of damages in as much detail as possible:
•  Box damage;
•  Product damage. Is there damage to an entire order or only one component? For example: "Seat back has tear in side from freight damage (shown in picture). Seat base and cushion are fine.”

  • Mailing photos and information will delay the processing of your claim. If possible, please use e-mail for faster service.
  • Once your claim is received, processed, and reviewed, we will contact you. Please allow up to 3 business days for this process. We will strive to ship replacement items in 5-10 working days.
